Verification documents are stored in private, access-controlled storage. They are never published, never shown in public parts of the site and are only accessible to authorised staff carrying out verification.
Statutory records relating to number plate supply are retained for the period required by law, after which they are deleted. A retention date is recorded against every register entry.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, subject to our statutory record-keeping obligations.
Cookies needed to run your basket, checkout, document upload and order tracking are always active — the site cannot work without them, and they are not used for advertising.
Separately, and only if you choose "Accept all" in our cookie banner, we load measurement tools from Meta (the Meta Pixel) and Google (Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking). These record pages viewed, plates added to the basket, checkouts started and completed orders, together with the order value, so we can understand which adverts lead to orders. You can change or withdraw this choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
When an order is paid we also send a server-to-server record of that purchase to Meta, containing the order reference, order value and a securely hashed (one-way encrypted) form of contact and delivery details so the purchase can be matched to an earlier advert click. We do not send the plain text of your email address, phone number, name or address to advertising platforms, and we do not send anything about your identity documents or your registration entitlement documents. Each order is sent once; the browser and server records share an identifier so they are counted as one purchase, not two.
This measurement is based on your consent. Declining does not affect your order, your delivery, your documents or the price you pay.
